WEDDING VENUE INNISFIL
Top 10 Reasons to have your wedding in Innisfil!
- Get out of the city - Not that there is anything wrong with the city, we love to visit, but there is something awesome about being away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature that just makes people feel good. The air, the birds, the sunsets, relaxed atmosphere, we could go on, but you get the picture.
- World renowned resort just 10 minutes away - The Nottawasaga Inn Resort, is a short drive from Glass Manor. It’s such a wonderful destination, that we have had some quick family vacations with our kids here over the years. It’s a perfect spot to start your honeymoon, as well as a mini vacation spot for your bridal party and wedding guests.
- Cost effective - We don’t have to compete with ‘downtown’ pricing and can offer amazing amenities at affordable pricing. One small example of this, is no extra charges for parking at our venue, or at Nottawasaga Inn (there a couple of exceptions at the resort).
- Florists & Event planners nearby - Innisfil has many local florists and event planners to choose from that will offer a personalized approach to planning your wedding.
- Historical Community - The Historical Village of Cookstown, located in Innisfil, has a rich history, dating back to 1847. Grab a flyer and take part in a self-guided tour of this little gem. It would be a distinctive addition for your bridal party or guests, while they visit the area.
- Rural Country setting - Innisfil is a one hour drive from Toronto, and is still considered a rural community. Glass Manor is located on an agricultural property. This property was originally operated by a Cattle Drover, Mr. Rueban Glass, in the early 1900’s. There were many barns on the property at that time. Unfortunately, they were taken down in the mid 1980’s (this may have been out of necessity, due to their aging). The current barn stood just north of Barrie since the late 1800’s. It was dismantled piece by piece and lovingly re-assembled in 1992, to expand the growing Cookstown Antique Market. Our property also backs onto the famous Trans Canada Trail.
- Photography - There are many opportunities throughout Innisfil to have unique photographs of your wedding, either on our 4 acre property, or perhaps on Lake Simcoe, just a 10 minute drive east of Glass Manor.
- Family owned & operated - Nothing can compare to a family run business! Attention to detail is very important to a small business owner, which means that everything will be prepared with great care.
- Availability - We are open 7 days per week, 362 days per year.
- Cookstown Antique Market - Glass Manor is part of Cookstown Antique Market that has been noted as one of the top ten destinations in Innisfil. People have come from around the world to visit our little piece of heaven. We have special treasures, available for purchase, at your finger tips to enhance your inner vintage-country-elegant styled wedding.
